When a show opens with a visual clang of neon, fishnets and faux fur hoop earrings, you know you’re in for a ride. An upshot of designer HEE JIN KIM’s dream of a man lugging around bags of garbage, the brand’s Fall 2017 collection––simply entitled Dumpster––brings forth a ‘90s-inspired mish-mash of color and texture.

Highlighter green mingled with metallics and a full spectrum of purple, from the lilac look sported by JUNG UISEONG (@ui__seong) to PARK ARYEON’s (@ryeon_chu) patchy fur jacket. Silhouettes ranged from torso-hugging and midriff-baring to big and baggy, while chunky knit scarves, metallic pants and pleather outerwear kept things unexpected. Literally breathing new life into trashy dressing, the show’s encore had several models carrying oversized plastic bags (in a dreamy shade of lavender, no less) and abandoning them at random along the runway.
